What an action packed weekend! I started out the weekend by running in the Miami Runners Turkey Trot. I've got a lot to say about this so that will be another post. Lucy and I also had a great Thanksgiving day spending alot of time with family. We also spent black Friday shopping where we bought a great new camera. We bought the Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I must say that it does everything that I want and about 100 things I know nothing about. On Sunday, I ran 10 miles (again more on this later) and spent some time with one of my boys, Jon, who's is going back to UM to serve as an IV staffer. Also on Sunday, Call FM sponsored a hip-hop show with Rawsrvnt, J-Remy, Playdough, Verbs, RedCloud and Pigeon John. I've been a huge Pigeon John fan for a few years now and his show completely tore it up. I was blown away. All of the artists were great guys and very talented. Rawsrvnt and RedCloud were especially friendly and loved talking to their fans. DJ MSG was also in the house and forgot to promote her show (the Calldron - Saturdays 12 PM)! I had a great time and I would like to thank Flamingo Road Church for putting together a great show. I've got some great pictures of the concert here.
