Chad Johnson hates the media

The funniest sports writer on the planet, Bill Simmons, had this random thought on Chad Johnson in his column today. Random thought: Imagine if the Bengals somehow made the Super Bowl? Would that be the greatest two weeks of Chad Johnson's life or what? Would he ever sleep? Would Vegas even take odds on his guaranteeing a Cincy Super Bowl win? Would he show up for Media Day like 12 hours early? He could become the first athlete ever fined for refusing to leave Media Day. Sure, I'd love to give an exclusive 10-minute interview to a newspaper in...

Find new music via Pandora

Digital Life TV mentioned a site this week called Pandora. The site allows you to enter a band or song you like and it suggests similar bands. The really cool thing about the site is that it allows you to listen to the suggested music. If you like discovering new bands this is definitely worth a look.

A Steve Taylor Movie? Tru.

Looks like Steve Taylor, one of my favorite artists, has gotten into directing. His first motion picture, The Second Chance, stars Michael W. Smith and is about “how a rebellious son and a street-smart pastor struggle to bridge the gap between their respective churches and cultures”. Sounds interesting. The trailer is up on the site and it’s not bad. Via The Phantom Tollbooth.

Parents kill baby with vodka

Store this in the "What not to do when your baby is crying" category. Two Miami parents are sought in the death of their three month old daughter after feeding her the equivalent of three eight ounce glasses of vodka. The parents of the infant, who had a blood alcohol level of .47, claimed that the practice of giving alcohol to children was common in their native country of Haiti. Wha? Huh? It’s a common practice to give a three month old alcohol poisoning? This sickens me.Now Playing: Alanis Morissette - Ironic
